Jane Eyre The Musical   NEWS "JANE EYRE: THE MUSICAL" HITS NEW YORK! Wings Theatre in New York City chose "Jane Eyre: The Musical" to be featured in their 2003 New Musicals Series. The show was contracted for twenty-four performances which ran June 27th through July 26th 2003. Wings Theatre is a small, Off Broadway, one-hundred-seat, equity theatre located in Greenwich Village - right in the heart of New York's cultural district. The Theatre is known for producing new works and is no stranger to staging an East Coast Premiere. Guest Director, Dr. Craig Duke, who came to California to direct the 2000 Premiere, lives in the New York area and agreed to direct the Wings production. Inland Theatre League Recognizes "Jane Eyre: The Musical" On Tuesday, March 27th, 2001 at the Inland Theatre League Awards Ceremony, WhiteRose Productions received three of seven Special Awards of Excellence for the Music, Script and Lyrics of "Jane Eyre: The Musical." We are also very pleased and honored to have received awards for all four of our nominations: Craig Duke for Director, Scott King for Scenic/Light Design, Eric Anderson for Rochester and Tara Miller for Young Jane in the August, 2000 Premiere Production of "Jane Eyre: The Musical."
